The ITIS E. Barsanti Project

H2planet has supplied and installed at the ITIS E. Barsanti in Pomigliano d’Arco the first complete hydrogen energy storage system for demonstration use with a mobile photovoltaic island.

Installation by our technicians

The system powered by a 2Kw openable and transportable photovoltaic system acts as a renewable source for long-term energy storage thanks to a small buffer of lithium-ion batteries.

The installed system involves metal hydride storage.

  • H-1000 fuel-cell stack to be supplied with DC power
  • Gas connection accessories
  • DC output power conversion accessories for electric motor (supercapacitors and charging circuit)
  • 750W electric motor with servomotor and connection interface
  • 48VDC battery buffer for motor torque cue and related BMS and charging system and fuel-cell power conversion interface
  • Metal hydride storage system 1x MyH2 7000 for 2 3h drills per week
  • Hy-PEM XP electrolyzer capable of producing and filling hydrogen tanks provided up to 3600cc/min

OUR STAFF FOR QUICK INSTALLATION

The installation involved the transportation and on-site installation of an entire energy storage system including several PEM fuel-cell stacks, educational kits, and ready-to-use GreenHub2 PRO by H2planet fuel-cell power generators and several MyH2 storage cartridges in a very tight time frame
