Our MyH2 together with Tenmak in the Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races

From 19 to 24 July, the 17th Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races took place at the Körfez Racetrack in Kocaeli, Turkey. The event was held as part of TEKNOFEST, an important platform that encourages and supports participants to develop high-end technologies such as hydrogen fuel cells and UAVs through exciting competitions.

As the name suggests the objective of the race, and consequently the final victory, is achieved through the evaluation of the efficiency of the prototype in the competition to complete a minimum number of laps in a given period of time. However, it's not enough to simply complete the laps in the allotted time, but it also becomes a determining factor in the amount of energy used to complete them.

Eight teams entered the "hydromobile category" in this year’s race, but four of them failed to get on track due to problems discovered during technical and safety checks. The four teams that have managed to compete successfully have all used the Horizon Educational’s XP fuel cell !

At H2Planet we also participated in the project thanks to the supply of the MyH2 600 cartridges: ultra-compact metal hydride cartridges capable of storing quantities of hydrogen 3 times higher than those that can be stored at standard pressures in the same physical space.
